How we checked

Last checked October 20, 2026 against kone.org. Before anything appears here, a separate check fetches each source again and confirms that every date we show is in the quoted text.

Notes from the last check

The Bug Light Kite Festival appears to have been replaced by a club-run 'Non-Festival' fly: the KONE listing shows a May 16 Non-Festival Fun Fly, the festival was not held in 2023 per an aggregator notice, and no future May date was found, so the series is flagged possibly_defunct with the 2026 year unconfirmed.
