How we checked

Last checked October 20, 2026 against hawickcommonriding.co.uk. Before anything appears here, a separate check fetches each source again and confirms that every date we show is in the quoted text.

Notes from the last check

The official Hawick Common Riding page gives ceremonial dates for 2026 (28 May to 6 June), which have already passed as of 20 October 2026, and no 2027 dates were found, so the next edition is recorded as tba and the series is only partly verified.
