Notes from the last check
The Ntinna a Mari greased-pole contest at Cefalù's Festa del SS. Salvatore is confirmed as still held: the official site records a 2026 winner and states it takes place every year on 6 August, so 2027 is expected on 6 August, though no 2027 programme is published yet.
