How we checked
Last checked October 20, 2026 against breisgauer-narrenzunft.de. Before anything appears here, a separate check fetches each source again and confirms that every date we show is in the quoted text.
Notes from the last check
The Breisgauer Narrenzunft is verified as the organizer and operating, and a tourism-board listing gives Monday 8 February 2027 at 14:00 for the Old Town parade, but no official organizer page confirmed that date, so it is recorded as reported; the 2026 edition (16 February) is recorded as last edition from a news page.
