How we checked
Last checked October 20, 2026 against visitmadeira.com. Before anything appears here, a separate check fetches each source again and confirms that every date we show is in the quoted text.
Notes from the last check
The 2027 Madeira Carnival in Funchal (3 to 14 February 2027) and the Carnival Allegoric Parade on 5 and 6 February are confirmed by the official Visit Madeira page and the Events Madeira listing; the Trapalhão parade date and the Solidarity/Children's Carnival date remain unresolved, since the official sources conflict or do not state them, and the compiler's 'Madeira Carnival' note appears to describe this same event rather than a separate series.
