Notes from the last check
The Gabrovo Carnival (Карнавал Габрово), run by Gabrovo Municipality, was confirmed as operating in 2026, with the 2026 programme running 9 to 19 May and the parade on 16 May 2026. The organiser's 2026 competition regulation states the carnival is held every third Saturday of May, so the 2027 edition is expected under that fixed rule, but no 2027 dates have been announced and none are recorded.
