How we checked
Last checked October 20, 2026 against its sources. Before anything appears here, a separate check fetches each source again and confirms that every date we show is in the quoted text.
Notes from the last check
The annual Toucheng ghost-grappling competition is held at lunar 7th month 30th day, late night; this is supported by an eventgo listing that restates the organizer's programme, not by the organizer's own site. A 7 August 2026 news report says the competition is suspended for 2026 while the pudu ritual continues, so the result is possibly_defunct. The compiler's '15th day' rule conflicts with the official last-day rule, and no official site or 2026 official notice was retrieved.
