How we checked
Last checked October 20, 2026 against its sources. Before anything appears here, a separate check fetches each source again and confirms that every date we show is in the quoted text.
Notes from the last check
Lightopia at Alton Towers ran for the 2021 and 2022 seasons, last running 25 November 2022 to 2 January 2023 according to TowersTimes; TowersTimes reports it did not return for 2023 because its third-party partner entered administration. The known-source aggregator (a 2025 guide) still lists it, but that is not supported by any official or news page, so the series is recorded as closed with no official site reachable in this run.
