How we checked
Last checked October 20, 2026 against louisianapiratefestival.com. Before anything appears here, a separate check fetches each source again and confirms that every date we show is in the quoted text.
Notes from the last check
The organizer's site identifies the Lake Charles Civic Center as the venue, but the only dated notice I could fetch says the 2024 edition was postponed and I found no 2025 or 2026 dates, so current operation is unconfirmed. Scope is not flagged: boat parades, costume contests and mock invasions look IN on the compiler's notes.
