How we checked
Last checked October 20, 2026 against fcss.sanjuan.pr. Before anything appears here, a separate check fetches each source again and confirms that every date we show is in the quoted text. One of the sources could not be fully re-checked, so a person will review this listing.
Notes from the last check
The festival exists and held a 2026 edition, and the Municipio de San Juan's festival site is the official URL; a news article (March 2026) reports the 2027 dates as 21–24 January, but no official page with those dates was retrieved, so the edition is recorded as 'reported' and the record is partial. Free admission, hours, lineup and exact 2026 dates are not verified. Scope looks like a fit (papier-mâché cabezudos parade, million-plus attendance), so no scope concern was raised.
