How we checked
Last checked October 17, 2026 against sendaitanabata.com. Before anything appears here, a separate check fetches each source again and confirms that every date we show is in the quoted text.
Notes from the last check
The official site shows the 2026 festival took place and states it is held on fixed August dates, so 2027 is recorded as expected rather than confirmed; the official pages fetched did not give street-level venues or admission terms.
