How we checked

Last checked October 20, 2026 against trailingofthesheep.org. Before anything appears here, a separate check fetches each source again and confirms that every date we show is in the quoted text.

Notes from the last check

Official pages show the 31st festival set for October 6-10, 2027 with the Big Sheep Parade on October 10, and the 30th edition ran October 7-11, 2026; the compiler's 1,500-sheep figure is not supported, since the official parade figure is 1,200, and the homepage's page title still reads 2025.
