How we checked
Last checked October 20, 2026 against nehrutrophy.nic.in. Before anything appears here, a separate check fetches each source again and confirms that every date we show is in the quoted text. One of the sources could not be fully re-checked, so a person will review this listing.
Notes from the last check
The official Nehru Trophy site was only reachable through a headless browser after plain fetches failed on TLS; it and the Alappuzha district page confirm the 72nd race ran on 22 August 2026 at Punnamada Lake and that the race follows a second-Saturday-of-August rule, so the 2027 edition is expected but not dated here. Other Vallam Kali races and ticketing or practical details remain unchecked.
