How we checked

Last checked October 20, 2026 against zaoropeway.co.jp. Before anything appears here, a separate check fetches each source again and confirms that every date we show is in the quoted text.

Notes from the last check

The Zao Ropeway's official site is live and posted a light-up notice on 2026-10-04, and the 2025-26 season (Dec 27, 2025 to Feb 22, 2026) is evidenced by a tourism page, but no official text I fetched states the 2026-27 dates, so the upcoming edition remains unconfirmed.
